Def Leppard performed their first ever acoustic session for Spanish radio in January 1993 and video footage is available.

The 9 song session was recorded for Los 40 Principales radio on 21st January 1993 and was the first ever session of its kind by the band.

Footage was included on a TV special for Canal + TV and contained interviews plus clips of MLLAM, Hysteria, BOTH, Armageddon It, TSB and Have You Ever.

This show included the first ever live performance of Two Steps Behind which would later make its concert debut at the June 1993 Don Valley Stadium show.

Have You Ever and MLLAM were also played acoustically for the first time along with covers of Little Wing and Get It On. This was the only known time MLLAM was played acoustically.

The band's only previous acoustic performances were songs played at full concerts including the acoustic medley section which was played at US/CAN shows in 1992. The band did play a three song session for the BBC two days later in London which they said was their first time playing an acoustic session. They lied!...

The full version of this show featured 9 full songs and has been widely circulated among fans for many years. Along with the video but this is the first time it's been posted online (by the same person who uploaded the 1995 footage last week).

The interview clips of Joe/Sav and Rick/Phil/Vivian were shot in Madrid just as the band were about to start the 13-Day club tour in the city on 20th May 1992 at the Canciller Club. Joe and Sav are also interviewed at the time of this show in 1993 (wearing the same outfits seen two days later on MTV Europe).

The version of Two Steps Behind from this show was released on a Spanish promo CD which also included a rare edit version of the studio song. The front cover sleeve featured a photo of Joe from this show.
