Def Leppard played two shows in Mexico in April 1997 during the Slang tour and rare footage is available.
The band started their central and South American tour in Monterrey on 2nd April 1997 at Auditorio Coca Cola.
A video has been posted on YouTube showing local fans interacting with the band in this city at their hotel.
Two days later the band were in Mexico City to play the second show at Palacio de los Deportes.
The footage cuts to the soundcheck from this show. As with the two 1993 shows the seats were opened at the back of the stage making it an almost In The Round concert.
The band are seen playing all of 'Deliver Me' at soundcheck. The taper obviously had permission to film as Joe winks/waves at them during the song.
