Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott was interviewed by Anton Savage of Today FM recently and the full audio is available.

Joe talked about Irish accents, the Down 'n' Outz/Louder beers, football, late Irish DJ Tony Fenton, the 2015 world/UK tour, 2015 studio album, the live setlist, secret gigs, playing football in Lanzarote, the Hysteria Cruise and working with Taylor Swift.

Joe says the album will likely be out around October time (someone tell HMV...).

The Anton Savage Show - Joe Elliott Interview Quotes

2015 Studio ("Def Leppard"?) Album

"Yeah it is a busy year and there's a new album coming out about October or so which we're just literally finishing up as I speak to you. We just did a few last minute adjustments to it yesterday and getting ready to launch that at the end of the summer/early autumn. So a very busy year."

2015 World Tour

"We've got a - well eventually we are. We've got a tour - they're coming out with us and so are the Black Star Riders actually for the British and Irish tour which starts here at the 3Arena in Dublin on 6th December. But the rest of the year we're not out with them. They're just doing the British and the Irish shows."

"But we start in Canada on our own in about two weeks time which should be a lot of fun because it's already sold out. Has been sold out for about two months which is amazing really. Funnily enough per capita it's our biggest ever market Canada. Even though it's not as many people as America but per capita it's for us its always been like our biggest market. Ticket sales have kind of pulling that fact up now which is great."

"And then we've got a three week European tour with some festivals and some shows in places like Prague and Finland and Oslo and that kind of thing. And then we've got like three or four months in the States. Then we've got Australia/Japan and then we're coming to Britain and Ireland."
