Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott was interviewed during Sunday's NFL game by Sky Sports 2 and said the band will resume album work next week.
Joe spoke to reporter Laura Woods who introduced the band before the Miami Dolphins/Oakland Raiders NFL International Series game.

Laura Woods - "I'm rather excited and very privileged to be standing next door to Joe. Amazing performance what was it like performing in front of 90,000 barmy NFL fans?."
Joe - "It's incredible. The atmosphere in this place is just. You can feel it. You can absolutely feel it. Unbelievable."
Laura - "Now am I right in saying the last time you were here the atmosphere wasn't so great for you because you're a Sheffield United fan?."
Joe - "Yes I am and I was here in May I think it was when United lost 5:3 to Hull City in the Semi Final of the FA Cup. But the atmosphere again was great. And we were a third tier team against a Premiership opposition. You know we were winning for a little while. I was actually more nervous when we was winning. I was more relaxed and enjoyed it more when we were 4:2 down. I don't know why it was weird. ."
Laura - "You might have expected it right?."
Joe - "Yeah. That was the whole thing but this. I'm kind of a neutral here. If I have to throw my hat on one time I'd say the Oakland Raiders because I've got friends and family that live two hours South of San Francisco. Which is you know the same area and they'd kill me if I didn't say the Raiders."
Laura - "Yeah in most of the stadium here it looks like Raiders fans."
Joe - "Yeah look at this guy they've got the Pirate stuff on it's fantastic."
Laura - "So for you guys going ahead you've got a new album coming out is that right?."
Joe - "Yeah we're working on it now. We took a hiatus off the album. We toured the States this summer for three months with KISS. So it put the album away for a couple of months. Starting again next week hopefully we'll have the album finished by Spring next year it should be out by then."
Laura - "Well best of luck with all that. Thanks for coming down and congratulations."
Joe - "Pleasure thanks."
