Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott sent his best wishes to Vivian Campbell at Sunday's NFL game along with Channel 4 host Colin Murray.

At the end of the three song medley performance Joe managed to find a working microphone to give a quick nod to Vivian who was watching on TV in California.

As mentioned by Joe on Friday, Vivian has now started the treatment which includes Stem Cell Surgery. After the performance on Channel 4 host Colin Murray sent the best wishes from the station to Vivian.

If you are in the UK you can watch the full game coverage again for five days at Channel 4's website.

The performance (from the start of Let's Get Rocked) starts at 14:38mins and Joe is interviewed at 50:02mins.

View a full video of the spectacular performance shot by a fan below. It shows that the fans in the stadium were mostly unaware of the microphone incident at the end. You also get more of an idea of the volume/atmosphere in the stadium.

Joe Elliott - On Stage Quote

"Thank you London. Get well Viv. Get well soon."

Colin Murray - Channel 4 Host

"Def Leppard live at Wembley and we'd like to take this chance to wish Vivian Campbell all the best. As he fights against a huge illness and yeah we send all our best wishes from Channel 4 to him. Hopefully he's watching from back home. And all the hits from the boys finishing with Pour Some Sugar On Me."
