The encore took place after the chimes of Big Ben were played to mark the start of the New Year and the New Millennium. The first song played in 2000 was '21st Century Sha La La La Girl' for the only recorded time followed by 'Let It Go'.
Also on this day in 1984 Rick Allen lost his left arm in a car crash just outside of Sheffield, England.
