I visited with my wife and friends Def Leppard's show in Riga. I'm a newer fan of DL and nowadays I just enjoy def's music, especially earlier songs. It sounds crazy but my first recording took place by mono cassette recorder from radio (BBC Russian program) - the reason is simple - then, at the beginning of 80's having original LP's of artists was only for selected people in Estonia. Then I promised myself if Def shows up somewhere near to Estonia my attendance is sure.

For the Riga concert I wanted it to be at the perfect concert place - Tallinn Song Stadium - I do not rate very highly Riga's Exhibition Centre for a great show. Just a box type Hall which had an effect on the sound quality. But Def Leppard gave their best and people shared the feelings!

One interesting point: at the same time took place important football match for Latvians (between LATVIA and TURKEY) and Joe was little surprised why at the time of show some people watched TV on show place.

The show continued for 1.5 hours and contained 2 encores - Me, my wife and my friends were satisfied - it was fine one-day trip to Riga!.
