Fan Review - By Bill

Great show. A few times Joe's vocals got drowned out by guitars and bass. (most notably during Long Long Way To Go, Four Letter Word and Promises. Then during Rock of Ages, which he seemed noticeably pissed about.)

Was incredibly happy to have gotten the High N Dry setlist for our show.

Crowd was a little over half capacity, but their enthusiasm more than made up for it. They seemed to be genuinely enjoying the loud crowd.

Absolutely brilliant show. The venue did seem only half full but it was one of the most enthusiastic crowds I've ever been in, they made more noise than a lot of sold out concerts I've been to.

The set was good but no pyrotechnics and Joe did an excellent rendition of Sweet Home Alabama (which got all the locals going). Well worth the money, and the 280 mile round trip.

I would have to say that this show was full of excitement from the crowd, fuelled by the great set list performed by the band. The vocals at first were a little low, but was corrected. Joe's voice was in tip-top shape and the rest of the band sounded as tight as any band I have ever seen.

The band kept the crowd going from one song to the next and was apparent by the noise on almost every song when it started including myself. I have been a big fan since I first bought High & Dry so many years ago and was surprised at some of the much younger members of the audience singing along just like they were the around the whole time. And some of the older fans that obviously stand by them. In other words the test of time, tragedy, adversity, and triumph was clearly shown in just a little over 2 hrs of amazing music and generation barriers didn't exist. Great show guys and I look forward to seeing you again next time around in South Carolina.
