The Kinks were formed in London in 1963 by Ray Davies (main songwriter/lead vocals/rhythm guitar), his brother Dave Davies (lead guitar/vocals/songwriting), Pete Quaife (bass guitar/vocals), Mick Avory (drums).
Joe Elliott played this song on UK Radio 1 when he hosted the morning show in July 1992, mentioning it as one of his childhood favourites. Ray Davies has recently guested at 2 Bon Jovi gigs in London. The second one I went to in Hyde Park (Dry County Fan Site Link) in 2003 when they played The Kinks song "Lola" together.
Joe played this song acoustically on his own at a US show on the 'Hysteria' tour in 1987/88 when Rick's drums briefly broke down.
