The show took place at the O2 Academy.

Vivian's first show in the city since playing there with Def Leppard in June 2008 on the Songs From The Sparkle Lounge tour at the SECC.

One of his earliest known shows in this city was with Sweet Savage in December 1981 as support to the original Thin Lizzy with Phil Lynott on lead vocals/bass. Scott Gorham, Brian Downey and Darren Wharton were also in that line-up.

The Scotsman - Online Review Quote

"But despite the presence of numerous Lizzy veterans - including original drummer Brian Downey, long-time guitarist Scott Gorham and keyboard player Darren Wharton - plus the hard rock heft of ex-Dio/Whitesnake/Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell, bassist Marco Mendoza and former Almighty frontman Ricky Warwick in the unenviable frontman role, this was a fairly rote rock performance, often lacking the innate groove which marked Thin Lizzy out from their more hidebound 70s rock peers."
