Not much of a writer, but WOW I have been a faithful fan of Def Leppard since 1981. I live in Minnesota and always try to see the Leps at least twice a tour so I traveled to Green Bay to a friends. Well worth the 6 hour drive and then some. Joe looks his best Ive seen him in a long time. Shows how happy he must be. Nice to see the interaction between Viv and Phil that seemed to be lacking during X on some dates. Cover of ROCK ON, Joe was Dead on and made my hair on my arms stand on end. Having the return of opener of TESLA was extra bonus. Here's waiting for 7-29-05 to see in St Paul, MN and hoping GA will give me as much youth as Green Bay did.

Hey I went to Def Leppard on June 21st and saw them in Green Bay. They were so good. It's my second time seeing them. I hope everyone who gets a chance to see them next will have an awesome time too. I love them so much and Tesla was great.

We attended Def Leppard concert, front row tickets.In Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA, on a Tuesday night. Paid 270 US Dollars on Ebay.
Tesla opened. We were surprised that Joe Elliott did not realise he had been to this arena two years ago. However he was very friendly with the audience. The concert was 18 songs in the set with 1 encore. The show was not sold out, maybe 80% of the arena. We enjoyed the video screen behind the drummer. The cameraman was shooting live shots of Joe and Vivian and Rick and Phil during the songs, putting it to animation. We did notice Def Leppard was not as loud as Tesla.

Media Exert ::

Def Leppard nearly matched its drawing power at the Resch Center in 2003 with a return visit Tuesday night before a crowd of 4,500. The British pop-metal band played to 4,700 two years ago.

Tesla Comment :: by Frank Hannon (tesla.com)

Hey everyone! Frank Hannon here. Last night in Green Bay Wisconsin absolutely rocked! We have been trying out alot of different setlists within the 50 min time frame and last night's songlist was hot! We are still going to change it up a bit for the rest of the tour and experiment with the new album tracks. I'm hopin to get "Got No Glory" in there soon. It has been an absolute blast sharing the stage with our "Big brothers" again. Remember, these guys gave us our break 18 years ago and chose us to open for them throughout Europe and the states, giving us more exposure than any other tour we've done. If wasn't for Rick Allen, Steve Clark, and Phil Collen hanging out and sitting in jamming with us at a small club gig in Amsterdam before the release of "Hysteria", we wouldn't have had the success that we've had. So my "Hats off" to the LEP guys and the great Rock-N-Roll shows they continue to produce. Their show is AWESOME! Killer songs and sounds mixed with great Video footage of the history of Def Leppard. I must say that VIVIAN is doing a great job and is one hell of a guitarist. He is definitely a brother and brings his own style to the stage. We have been jamming a little bit and trading some licks. Check out VIV's upcoming blues guitar album as well. OK until next time....KEEP ON ROCKIN! FRANK HANNON.
