Def Leppard kicked off their 2009 tour in Dublin last night at the new O2 venue. The band played a much longer set than recent years with 19 songs in total being performed. As a sign of things to come the band aired Pyromania classic Too Late For Love for the first time since summer 2003. Other songs included Action and Switch 625 both not played on the UK shows last year. The staging was the same as the second UK leg in 2008. Things are set to be changed quite a bit for the forthcoming US tour including the shows opening, video screen/s and much of the video screen footage. In other news more US shows have been added for September including the 9th in San Diego and 11th in Ridgefield. According to Joe the number could reach around 57 shows with the tour ending in Canada in late Sep/early Oct. See bottom of 2009 tour dates page. Thanks to Deflep09 for the video.
