The Classic Rock Festival in Sandnes, Norway has announced Def Leppard as a headline act for their 2008 line-up. The festival runs from May 21-24th 2008.
Def Leppard are scheduled to play on the opening day of Wed 21st May 2008. Also playing the same day are Norwegian band Titanic. The festival will have a capacity of 22,000 people.
(Note) :: According to the translation Lep & Titanic have been booked, the other bands mentioned are possibles. This story has also been mentioned on many Norwegian news sites and local press.
This date marks the first of the 2008 "Sparkle Lounge" world tour to be announced and/or mentioned/rumoured. The band last played a show in Norway in 1996. Kicking off the European Slang tour at the Spectrum in Oslo on Sat 5th November. Supported by Terrorvision.
