Def Leppard's 2008 European tour will visit Portugal in early August according to the European press. The band are due to play at the 18th Expofacic Festival in Cantanhede, Portugal. This event takes place from 25th July to 3rd August with Lep scheduled to appear on the 2nd August.
The news story also states this will be the last date of the European tour. The event has been played in the past by acts such as Scorpions and Nelly Furtado. This would be Def Leppard's first visit to the country since 1996 and third overall. The band played the Cascais Pavilion in Lisbon in October 1996 and May 1993 during the Slang and Adrenalize world tours.

"On July 8th both bands will arrive in Romania, and further they'll continue their tour in the East, through Croatia (10th July) and Czech Republic (19th July). The tour ends in Portugal on 2nd August, at Cantanhede festival."

Lep have already been confirmed to headline the Masters Of Rock Festival between July 10-13th in the Czech Republic. It's likely Whitesnake may play here as well although they already have a date in Croatia announced for June.
More shows are likely between July 17th to August 2nd. Neither Leppard or Whitesnake have any shows scheduled in the larger markets of Spain, Italy, France or Germany as yet.
