DEF LEPPARD's RICK ALLEN Performs Two Acoustic Songs With Lauren Monroe

Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen recently appeared on LifeMinute TV with his wife Lauren Monroe and her band to perform two songs.

'Diamond Star Halos' is the band's 12th studio album.

As announced on 17th March it will be released on Friday 27th May 2022.

Rick and Lauren talked about their intimate life shows, donating seats to veterans, 12 drummers drumming charity event, her album Under A Wolf Moon, Kiss Me Now single, new upcoming 2022 album, their marriage, artwork, healing and life advice.

Rick and his wife Lauren were interviewed by Lifeminute TV and also performed two songs acoustically.

The appearance was taped in New York during Lauren's recent short run of shows in the area.

Rick Allen - "I think as a musician you you don't necessarily break music up into genres."

Rick Allen - "But it's so much more intimate in a gallery setting."

Rick Allen - "You know here I get to actually spend quality time with people."

Rick Allen - "And I think the artwork itself has been extremely healing for me."

Rick Allen - "You can be in the moment, you know, when you are doing it."

Rick Allen - "And I think that translates when people to experience the art. And they start to tell me why they were drawn to a certain to a certain piece."

Rick Allen - "So it gets really interesting. I love it."

Rick Allen - "I think as Lauren says, you know, if you're easy on yourself and you recognise it."

Rick Allen - "And I think if you're aware of it then, you know, I tend not to go to dark places as often. Or for as long."

Rick Allen - "So it is a process and it does take work."
