On This Day in Def Leppard History - 12th July, the following concerts and events took place. Including guitarist Phil Collen joining the band in London, England on this day in July 1982.
Phil joined on 12th July 1982 as the band were half way through the recording of the 'Pyromania' album. He replaced Pete Willis who was fired the day before at ex-manager Peter Mensch's house in London.

Also on this day in 1999 the 'Promises/Back In Your Face' double A-Side single was released in the UK. The first single taken from the 'Euphoria' album which reached Number 41 on the UK singles chart.
