BBC 6Music show Live At Midnight will tonight re-broadcast the November 1996 recording of Def Leppard Live in their home city of Sheffield.
The 12 songs were recorded at the arena on the opening night of the UK Slang tour on Thursday November 14th 1996. Where they were supported by young UK rockers Terrorvision. The excellent recording features Joe's interesting lyrical changes to 'Let's Get Rocked', a Freddie Mercury style crowd sing-a-long. As well as the UK live debut of both 'Slang' & 'Work It Out' plus many other classic songs.
As mentioned previously the show is on the radio at midnight but is currently streaming on the show's page and will be available until Monday 10th.
Lep Trivia - Def Leppard have now performed 7 times at the Sheffield Hallam FM Arena, 6 full headline shows and the 2002 'Feel The Noise' promo event.
