Philadelphia's Daily News recently reported that Ruck Savage was spotted playing Golf at the Philadelphia Country Club, a regular stop for him and Joe when they are in town. Both are keen Golfer's and have been since the mid 80s. Rick has also taken part in Charity events in Sheffield along with local radio celebrities and ex'Sheffield Wednesday/Uinted football stars.

Def Leppard bassist Rick Savage is "one of the best rock golfers around," says a spy at the Philadelphia Country Club, where Savage fared well on the course Monday during a day off from the band's tour. Last year, Savage was accompanied by frontman Joe Elliott, but the singer didn't come out this year.
