Def Leppard UK website re-launched with new improved Tour History.
Or in other words - the site has been re-coded using CSS and brought up into this century. Here's a little detail of what's changed
RSS News Feeds - 3 feeds for Main News, Tour News and Album news have been added.
DLUK Search - Search page for searching this site and the net.
DLUK Community Toolbar - An interactive toolbar for Firefox & Internet Explorer. Connect to DLUK while browsing other sites.
Digg Buttons - Submit DLUK news stories to the Digg community website.
ADD THIS Button - Bookmark/Share DLUK pages to community websites including Del.ici.ous, Technorati and Digg.
Website Main Sections:
Def News - Re-designed with a new style inluding an RSS Feed. Past News 2001-2007 back online.
Tour History - Re-designed with a new style and expanded now includes all tours including Slang.
A news News section for the 2008 tour with an RSS Feed.
Many other sections added with more to follow. Including Def Tour UK, Solo Tours/Appearances, Live Recordings and Tour Stats.
Tour Dates now in a new table style - more organised. Same overall look for each main tour page. This pretty much what I wanted this section to be like when it first started, hopefully on the way to being what it should be. Still a lot more to add.
Show pages from 2002-2007 still being updated. All pages are up but some in the old style.
Discography - Re-Designed in the same style as the Tour History and in a different order. Links to the new DLUK Amazon Store.
New section for the 2008 'Songs From The Sparkle Lounge' album. Old albums pages to be updated soon. Other sections to be added.
Band Members - New Band Member sections - Steve Clark page redone (rest to follow).
Friends Of Lep, Line-Up, Past Members, Lep's Sheffield sections updated (with more to follow).
Lep Hystery - A Def Leppard history section 1977-2007 in celebration of 30 years of the band.
Which is actually this month, or last month depending on what Joe/Sav interview you read.
This part of the site will be added to as much as the tour pages eventually, a record of the bands activities over the years. 1992 section partially done. The Lep Hystery pic on the Updates page will link to a specific day, as and when more pages are up.
Media - Re-Designed section includes the Def Video section and Band Interviews. Other stuff to follow - audio/video section.
Def Video now has only promo videos listed, all VHS/DVD's moved to the Discography section.
Def Leppard TV - Useless intro page gone - split into their own sections.
Def Leppard Radio - see above.
