| Def Leppard's Rocket On Formula 1 Coverage |

Def Leppard's classic song "Rocket" is currently being used during ITV's Formula 1 coverage. During the short SONY High Definition ad a snippet of the song plays. These clips are shown going in and out of every ad break, before and after the ITV titles. The song debuted on the coverage of this morning's Monaco Grand Prix Qualifying with Britian's Lewis Hamilton strong favourite to win the race.
The main race is on live tomorrow on ITV1 from 11:55am to 3:20pm with many highlights shows repeated on Sunday and Monday.
This follows the first five races of the season where Iron Maiden's song "Can I Play With Madness" was used. There are plenty of chances to hear the snippet as the first link below shows. There is also a strong chance this will go on for the next few races at least - while the European/UK tour is on. The British Grand Prix is on July 6th following the Canadian and French races.
29th May - The 'Rocket' music has been added to the video section on the ITV website. Before and after each clip.
These include the first 8 clips on ITV Exclusives and Press Conferences (UK Only).
