"In our countdown, Allen is totally unique. Whereas most drummers have had to overcome arrogant frontmen during their careers, Allen has continued to drum with just one arm. Allen had to undergo a complete amputation of his left arm following a car accident when he was 21. Through the adversity, however, he's gone on to become one of rock's truly special sticksmen."
