Both Def Leppard and Whitesnake have been nominated in the 2008 Classic Rock Awards Roll Of Honour. The recent co-headline tour gets an Event Of The Year nomination. Def Leppard's 'Songs From The Sparkle Lounge' album is up for Album Of The Year along with Whitesnake's 'Good To Be Bad'. Both acts are also up for Band Of The Year. They face stiff competition from Led Zeppelin in two categories. The awards will be given out on Monday November 3rd at Park Lane Hotel, London. Album Of The Year Big Linda - I Loved You, Black Crowes - Warpaint, Joe Bonamassa - Sloe Gin, Alice Cooper - Along Came A Spider, Def Leppard - Songs From The Sparkle Lounge, Journey - Revelation, Opeth - Watershed, Stone Gods - Silver Spoons And Broken Bones, Uriah Heep - Wake The Sleeper, Whitesnake - Good To Be Bad. Joe presented an Inspiration award to the late Mick Ronson at last year's event. The Hysteria Deluxe Edition was also up for Reissue Of The Year but lost out to KISS.
