Def Leppard's Rick Allen and Vivian Campbell are set to appear live in LA during January 2009. Rick will be playing drums with his wife Lauren Monroe at two shows in Los Angeles and Universal City. In LA Vivian will also be playing on the same bill along with longtime Leppard support act Ricky Warwick.
According to Lauren Monroe's website she is currently writing for her next album with songwriter Mark Hayes (also on the bill in LA) with recording due to start in January. Her debut album "The Freedom Sessions" was co-produced by Rick who also played on the album and will no doubt be involved in the new release. The second appearance is part of a book signing event by Lorelei Shellist.
These shows mark the first Lep-related live action of 2009, so far.
