The official Xbox 360 magazine have interviewed Rick Savage and Vivian Campbell. The interview by Ryan King from May 7th covers the bands involvement with Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock and specifically their new 3 song pack which includes re-recorded live versions of 'Rock Of Ages' and 'Photograph' - both re-recorded especially for the game. They also discuss the release of 'Nine Lives' via a video game.

Rick Savage: I struggled to play the real thing last night [Nine Lives], so I'd be wasted on that!
Vivian Campbell: "For us, it's always more thrilling to play something that's new because you have to be a bit more on your game. It's a bit more tentative, I suppose, and that adds a certain of element of excitement to it."
Given it's different from real guitar, I'm curious, what difficulty did you play it on?
VC: I have no idea. Somebody else pushed the buttons and set it up
RS: It's kind of like on stage, somebody else pushes the buttons and we stand there playing the notes [laughs]. We need a road crew even to play bloody Guitar Hero!
With Guitar Hero: Aerosmith on the way, are you guys interested in doing a Guitar Hero: Def Leppard?
VC: Yeah!
RS: Yeah, absolutely.
You re-recorded Rock Of Ages and Photograph live specifically for Guitar Hero III. How did that work out? Were you put in a studio and told to play the songs again?
VC: Pretty much [laughs]
RS: Basically, yeah
Will Def Leppard release more Guitar Hero songs in the future?
RS: I hope so, absolutely.
