[Aug 30th 2005] - Debut Show in London/EP Release
Man-Raze have lined up their debut show on Tue Sep 27th. And the good news is it's in London. At The Spitz in the East End of the city. Quite a small and intimate venue which usually hosts young and upcoming bands.
The "Skin Crawl" E.P. will be out as a single on 26th Sep in the UK at least (was listed by UK record shops as this) & priced £3. (The band have now updated this to Mon 24th Oct). Press Info:
"As is often the case, the most exciting and inspiring new music regularly comes from the most unexpected of sources. You see, Man-Raze is not your average debut artist - they are a band whose members - Def Leppard's Phil Collen and the Sex Pistols' Paul Cook amongst them - have in previous guises already achieved multi-platinum sales worldwide, but are going back to their roots in the form of a straight up rock three piece. Their debut single, "Skin Crawl" is released in September 2005.".
(Sep 1st) - The band's site has now updated with the info sent to fans via email.

[Aug 30th 2005] - Hard House Remix
As previously mentioned the Single/E.P. will feature one or more dance remixes of the original songs. A Hard House Label called 12" Thumpers have revealed they did some work on one of these tracks. Jake from the label explains in a recent dance interview from May:
"We've just finished remixing a track for a new band called "Man-Raze" which has formed from a hybrid of the Sex Pistols', 'Def Leppard' and glam outfit 'Girl' which was interesting. It's being played in America at the mo." (Aug 30th: turns out the mix is by SPX Crawlers who work for this label).

[Aug 11th 2005] - All Lyrics Up
The lyrics to the remaining 6 tracks on the debut album have been added at the official site. All songs co-written by Phil and Simon Laffy. 'Closer To Me' now confirmed as the same song recorded by Ziroq in mid-2001 (notice slight lyrics changes).
This update might well confirm an impending September release for the E.P. and further news.

[Aug 4th 2005] - E.P./Album Release News
In a new Interview published today Phil has given a few updates on when we can expect releases by Man-Raze. It would seem from what the interviewer was told that the E.P. (or just a smaller single) will be released in September with the as-yet-untitled full album to follow "early next year".
This would probably mean live shows around the album release. Live shows this year depends on whether Def Leppard add shows past Sep 4th.

[July 26th 2005] - E.P. Delay
You may have noticed everything went quiet with Man-Raze - the band did give an update on their site on June 29th. The gist of this being they will do "additional recording and remixing" on the E.P. before it will be released. Delays to live shows, the E.P. and eventual album are possibly due to the ongoing 'shenanigans' with that silly rock band Def Leppard...(hehe).
[Note] - This additional work may have taken place during a short trip to London Phil made in July between Lep tour legs.
[June 15th 2005] - New Phil Interview
Phil has given an interview with UK Mag Classic Rock. In it he talks about the band, the history and their future plans. Not a lot that's not already known but still a good read.

[June 5th 2005] - E.P Songs/Update
'Skin Crawl' & 'You're So Wrong' will be included on the band's debut E. P. currently pending a release date. Paul Cook has revealed this and a few other details in a new interview. He has also spoken about how the band have taken their self-financed approach as far as they can and need more backing before a full album release. Live shows also seem less likely while Lep are touring. Follow the link below for more:
