Love bites for Def rocker Joe :: Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott cuddles up to his beautiful new wife and reveals he found her in the closet - literally. Singer Joe married blonde Kristine just 16 months after meeting her when she stepped in at the last minute to work as a wardrobe assistant on the band's recent world tour. And now Dublin-based Joe has vowed his marriage to US-born Kristine, 32, in September is for keeps. Joe, 45, said: "Kristine was doing wardrobe and hospitality. "It was only supposed to be for three weeks - Kristine was asked by her friend to fill in for her. "But those three weeks turned into a year and we gradually fell in love. "Six months later things finally started happening between us - and that was that." Although Joe was once married to former Miss Ireland Karla Elliott and had eight-year relationship with another American called Bobbie, he said he doesn't think he and Kristine had a whirlwind romance. Joe explained: "After the tour we came to Dublin and started living our lives. "We enjoyed it so much that we decided to get married."
Def Leppard have just released their Best Of album which has rocketed into the charts in Ireland and internationally.
