Def Leppard filmed the three High 'n' Dry album promo videos on this day in 1981 in Liverpool, England.

The videos were filmed on the same day as their High 'n' Dry UK tour show at Royal Court Theatre.

The ninth show of the band's second major UK tour of large theatre venues.

Before and after the show the band filmed promo videos for 'Let It Go' which would be released as a single in the UK in August.

The two other videos filmed were 'Bringin' On The Heartbreak' and 'High 'N' Dry (Saturday Night)', the second and third single released from the album.

Members of the band's fan club from Sheffield attended the filming and can be seen in front of the stage in the full stage shots.

The video for 'BOTH' was given heavy airplay by MTV USA in late 1982 resulting in the album going Gold and setting up the success of the 1983 'Pyromania' album.
