Dave Kilner - A Night To Remember, City Hall, Sheffield, ENGLAND  England.

Friday, 30th April 2010  |

Show Notes

Joe Elliott and Rick Savage appearing at a tribute concert to Sheffield DJ and charity worker Dave Kilner. Dave passed away in September 2009. He had helped Def Leppard in their early career in Sheffield and was a good friend of Sav's who was also involved with Dave's charity work. The headline set by the Down 'N' Outz featuring Sav had to be cut short after the show overan. Sav appeared earlier with his daughter Jordan to perform a Taylor Swift song - her first ever live performance. The whole cast joined in for the encore of 'All The Young Dudes'. The venues Twitter rumour of an appearance by KISS members proved not to be true but Joe announced Gene Simmons was backstage. The Down 'N' Outz set started with an intro tape going into 'Funeral For A Friend' (an instrumental) which along with 'Love Lies Bleeding' opens his classic 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' album.
