Def Leppard discussed the new KICK promo video from the new album Diamond Star Halos during the shoot in February.

'Diamond Star Halos' will be the band's 12th studio album.

The first studio album since 2015 was announced on 17th March and is out on Friday 27th May 2022.

The single 'Kick' was released on the same day and the promo video released on 25th March.

The video was directed by Anuk Rohde.

The location was the Ken Fox Troupe Wall Of Death HQ in Ely which is just north of Cambridge in Cambridgeshire, England.

The band discussed the video during the shoot which took place on 8th February 2022.

The Wall Of Death owners had revealed that the shoot had taken place in early February with the exact date now confirmed.

As already noted the video resembles the classic 'Animal' promo which was shot with a circus troupe near Amsterdam in 1987.

Mentioned by both Rick and Sav during the video which can be seen below along with a full transcript and screenshots.

Joe spoke briefly about making some "videos" for the new album recently in the UK on his Planet Rock radio show.

His mention of London (along with Cambridgeshire) suggests the video for 'Fire It Up' was filmed there around the same time as this video.

'Fire It Up' having been mentioned as another upcoming single along with 'This Guitar' and presumably set to be released around the same time as the album in May.

As you can see from this video of the Ken Fox Troupe YouTube channel Def Leppard are not the only band to have filmed inside the Wall Of Death and it was also used by BBC One for its title sequence.

Former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher's old band Beady Eye filmed their video for The Roller in the same place in 2011.
