The band flew to Dublin, Ireland on Wed 8th Feb to rest and start writing album number 4.

1985 Jan 12th & 19th Rock In Rio, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil - Lep were asked to perform but decided to pull out (before Rick's accident). They didn't want to interrupt recording. Their replacement was Whitesnake.
They were also asked to perform at Live Aid on July 13th 1985 but had to decline due to Rick's ongoing recovery. They probably would have played in Philadelphia had they performed. (The band would later play Philly at Live 8 in 2005 after first wanting to play the London show.)

Also playing in Melbourne were Doctor Feelgood, The Little River Band, Split Enz, The Divinyls: possibly as part of a festival.
