DEF LEPPARD Tour Announcement In November?/VIVIAN CAMPBELL Cancels Shows

Def Leppard may be set to announce The Stadium Tour 2023 tour dates in November or other activity following Last In Line tour cancellations.

The Stadium Tour 2022 ended on 9th September in Las Vegas, NV at Allegiant Stadium.

Vivian's side band Last In Line have cancelled multiple shows on their current tour due to Vivian's commitments with Def Leppard.

Last In Line drummer Vinny Appice spoke to Eddie Trunk for his Trunk Nation show last week and was asked about the cancellation.

He apparently told Eddie that Vivian had to pull these dates due to his commitment to Def Leppard.

This may tie in to Joe's hint of new activity "coming to light pretty soon" on his 8th October Planet Rock radio show.

Last In Line scheduled a tour for September, October and November with five shows already played.

The last five shows from 18th November to 23rd November have now been cancelled.

They were due to take place in Vineland, NJ, Huntington, NY, Teaneck, NJ, Baltimore, MD and a second date in Huntington, NY.

Five shows have already been played with the next scheduled for 20th October in West Hollywood, CA.

Last in Line announced a new four track 'A Day In the Life' EP in July for release on 11th November.

The title track was released on the same day as a digital download along with a lyric video.

The Stadium Tour 2023 will resume in Spring 2023 in South America/Mexico according to a recent interview with Motley Crue singer Vince Neil.

Over the past few weeks/months Poison were seemingly ruled out of the 2023 tour by Bret Michaels and now Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars has been rumoured to be retiring from the band due to his health condition and be replaced by a new guitarist.

2019 Tour Announcement

This would not be the first time Last In Line dates have been moved for Def Leppard activity.

Vivian told an interviewer back in November 2019 that some of their December dates had been moved because "something has come up with Leppard" which of course turned out to be a press conference in LA for The Stadium Tour 2020.

Other Announcements/Activity

Joe hinted that new things would come to light pretty soon indicating upcoming announcements but was not specific.

The cover of 'Heroes' has yet to be released outside of being used as intro music on the tour and the details of the new cover version/advert have also yet to be revealed.

The next few days/weeks should bring some answers.
