Def Leppard returned to full live action last night in Los Angeles, CA with 14 songs performed.

The show took place at the small 500 capacity Whisky A Go Go.

A show played for the SiriusXM Small Stage Series where artists play intimate venues.

The first time the band have played this in this city since October 2018 on the Def Leppard x Journey tour.

Only Vivian had played this venue previously with Last In Line.

The first full live show by the band since 2nd November 2019 in Sacramento, CA.

Also the first show in support of the new album 'Diamond Star Halos' which has now been released everywhere.

Setlist

A 14 song setlist was played as expected from the 'Stuart the dog leaked' version seen in the rehearsal photo.

'Take What You Want' was indeed the opening song followed by two one word title tracks in 'Animal' and 'Foolin'. Played for the second time after its debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Kick Live Debut

As also as suggested only one other song was played in 'Kick' which made it's live debut after being first released as a single on 17th March.

'Excitable' remains in the set after its welcome inclusion in 2018 and 2019 when it was played outside of the 'Hysteria' album shows as a regularly played song.

The second half of the setlist was close to the one played in 2019 but with 'Love Bites' and 'Armageddon It' moved to earlier in the show and going from 'Hysteria' right into 'PSSOM'.

Def Leppard Radio/Concert Broadcast

The show was recorded and will be broadcast starting from later tonight in the USA for SiriusXM subscribers on the Def Leppard Radio channel which also starts today.

And if anyone wants to record it and put it on YouTube (or elsewhere) feel free.

"How we fixed out here, you all good?. This is the first time we've ever played here."

"It's almost 42 years to the day since we played the Santa Monica Civic. First ever American gig opening for Pat Travers."

The next Def Leppard show will take place in Atlanta, GA on 16th June as The Stadium Tour "finally" starts.

Until then there is a new album out today to listen to, and it's quite good!.
