DEF LEPPARD Kick Off 2023 With Private Show In LAS VEGAS, NV (Setlist/Photos)

Def Leppard played their first show of 2023 last night in Las Vegas, NV for a private event with 12 songs performed.

The show took place at the 4,600 capacity The Theater At Virgin Hotels.

A private show played for and sponsored by JBL Audio and billed as 'JBL Presents A Private Concert With Def Leppard'.

The first time at this venue and event.

The show was free for employees who were only told of the show on the day.

The first small Las Vegas show since the 12 date 'Hits Vegas / Sin City Residency' in August/September 2019.

And due to the residencies the city continues to be the most played in the USA since the band first arrived in the country in May 1980.

This show now explains the curious post on Instagram by Sav saying the band were back in rehearsals on 4th January when they usually rehearse much closer to a tour starting.

Not the first corporate show in Vegas as the band also played at The Joint in October 2014 for the McAfee Focus 14 Conference.

First Show Of 2023/Setlist

The first Def Leppard concert of 2023 and a return to Las Vegas, NV where The Stadium Tour ended in September.

The first concert played since 20th November 2022 when they rocked the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

A 12 song set played almost in the same order as the songs had appeared in the 2022 setlist apart from 'Love Bites' being played after 'Promises'.

The regular encore but no 'Switch 625' after BOTH.

'Kick' was the only new song included from 'Diamond Star Halos'.

Small Theater Venue

An intimate venue which has a capacity of 4,600.

Smaller than the 7,000 seater they will play twice next month in Atlantic City.
