DEF LEPPPARD In TULSA, OK On THE WORLD TOUR 2023 (Show Report/Setlist)

Def Leppard played another show on The World Tour 2023 last night in Tulsa, OK with 17 songs performed.

The show took place at the 30,000 capacity Skelly Field at H. A. Chapman Stadium.

The first show in this city since July 2018.

And the first time at this venue.

Loud And Proud In Tulsa

Back in Oklahoma after five years away, like most places they've played this year.

And a LOUD crowd as noted by Joe on stage and Sav in his IG post (see below).

Playing a smaller but full up stadium.

Skelly Field at H. A. Chapman Stadium or just H. A. Chapman Stadium.

Bright sunshine greeted both Alice Cooper and Motley Crue.

And then Def Leppard closed out this show in the darkness.

Hard to judge as it happened - because literally nothing was posted save for a couple of brief video clips - but another great show played once more.

A loud band and a loud crowd in a packed stadium.

For whatever reason there still hasn't been much posted in the way of photos of video.

But the little that has been posted shows it was another great show to add to those already played on this leg and before it.

And now a return to Texas to end the American tour - for now.

And as Nikki Sixx keeps hinting on his IG there is "More to come". In 2024.

First Outdoor Show In Tulsa

Last night's show was the first time the band have played outdoors in the city.

The other shows here were all played in large arenas and a small indoor venue in 1999.

17 Song Setlist

The same 17 song setlist played once more.

All three 'Diamond Star Halos' songs played in Tulsa for the first time.

The 'Drift Away' snippet and sing-along was again played before 'This Guitar'.

Tulsa History

The first visit to Tulsa took place in December 1987 for an In The Round show on the Hysteria tour with Tesla at the Tulsa Convention Center.

They returned to the same venue for a second In The Round show in December 1992 during the Adrenalize tour.

A Euphoria tour show took place in August 1999 at the Expo Square Pavilion.

The Convention Center Arena was played again in June 2003 on the X/Ten tour.

The BOK Center was played for the first time in August 2009 and again in September 2011.

Two more shows at BOK Center took place in August 2014 and in October 2015.

In July 2018 the band returned there once more with Journey on the 2018 World Tour.

Last night's show was the 10th overall performance in Tulsa.

The next Def Leppard show takes place in El Paso, TX on 18th August as they end this leg of American shows.
