DEF LEPPARD In HOUSTON, TX On THE STADIUM TOUR 2022 (Show Report/Setlist)

Def Leppard played show number 26 of The Stadium Tour in Houston, TX last night with 17 songs performed.
The show took place at the 41,168 capacity Minute Maid Park.
The first visit to Houston since September 2018 on the Journey co-headline tour when two nights were played.
The 20th show by the band in this city and first time at this venue.
The first visit here took place in May 1980 at Sam Houston Coliseum on their first American tour.
The second time the band have played a stadium or dome in Houston.
In March 2001 they made a special one-off appearance before 55,000 fans at the Houston Livestock & Rodeo Show on a revolving In The Round stage.
Show #26 - Houston We Have Lift Off
Rain in Houston earlier in the day prompted the massive retractable roof to be closed for this show.
All but three of the remaining venues have retractable roofs - if only they'd scheduled these venues in June/July Leg 1 could have been rain free.
A 9:30pm start and Lift-Off (or Take-Off) in Houston.
Mission control is in Houston and Rockets take off from Florida but never mind - 'Take What You Want' opened as ever and the band were on fire once more.
Roof Closed/Houston Lights Up
Another indoor show with the roof closed and with the sun set before show time the skyline of Houston was visible through the massive windows to one side of the stage.
The stadium in Indianapolis had a large window but Minute Maid Park had an even larger one which gave views.
The buildings light up in the darkness as the band played.
The Thundergod Unwell But Rocking
Rick "The Thundergod" Allen posted his usual pre-show video and said he was feeling unwell with a stomach ache but would be OK to play.
And as ever he was more than OK with another fine performance.
