Def Leppard 2022

Def Leppard released the Fire It Up promo video from the Diamond Star Halos album on this day in 2022.

'Diamond Star Halos' is the band's 12th studio album.

The first studio album since 2015 was announced on 17th March which was released on Friday 27th May 2022.

'Fire It Up' was released as the third track from the album on 20th May 2022.

The video was posted on YouTube on 26th May 2022 and was directed by Dylan Hayes and produced by Knucklehead.

Dylan posted a gallery from the shoot and more info on Instagram.

The clip was filmed at a studio in the Acton area of London around the same time as the photo shoot with Anton Corbijn with the band all wearing the same black suits and white shirts.

They are seen performing together surrounded by a series of screens which has various colourful visuals projected onto them as they perform.

These include images from the album artwork by the Munden Brothers team.

Extra colour effects are also superimposed over the band.
