DEF LEPPARD Fan Day At ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME In CLEVELAND Tomorrow

Def Leppard will have a special Fan Day in their honour tomorrow at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, OH.

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame announced the special fan day earlier today.

It was announced to coincide with The Stadium Tour show at FirstEnergy Stadium which also features fellow inductees Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.

The band were inducted into the hall at Barclays Center on 29th March 2019.

The 34th annual induction ceremony saw Brian May of Queen induct the band into the hall 13 years after the were first eligible.

Fan voting ended on 9th December 2018 with Def Leppard winning by 119,803 votes ahead of Stevie Nicks. The official final total for fan votes was 547,647 votes.

Four Def Leppard songs were performed before the band were joined by others including Brian May and Ian Hunter to play the Mott The Hoople classic 'All The Young Dudes'.

The event tomorrow takes place between 10am to 8pm at the Rock Hall Museum.

Entry is $35 if you are a non member of the Hall.

Stop by the Rock Hall’s interactive exhibit, The Garage, to pick up an instrument – drums, guitars, bass, keyboards - and play or sing any of their songs in the jam room. Whether jamming with friends or creating an impromptu fan band with The Garage’s musicians, who will be prepared to play their songs all day, the Jam space boasts a full band setup, stocked with real, high-quality gear, where you can participate in collaborative audio and video recording or freestyle jam sessions.

Fans can also view footage from the Rock Hall’s vault, and hear their music played inside the Museum and on the Rock Hall Rock Boxes located downtown along East 9th Street.

In addition, the Rock Hall’s Long Live Rock art installation will honor the full line-up providing fans with a perfect photo opportunity to celebrate their music and their legacy.

Original wooden foot pedals used by Rick Allen to relearn how to play drums after losing his arm.

Microphone stand w/ Union Jack scarf used by Joe Elliott.

Red plaid suit worn by Joe Elliott on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, 1992.

Gibson Les Paul custom six-string electric guitar played by Vivian Campbell on tour from 1992 until about 2002, including during the 1996-97 tour in support of the Slang album.

Gibson double neck SG used by Steve Clark. Clark used this guitar in the studio and onstage, including the 1987-88 Hysteria World Tour.

Jackson Crackle Jack guitar played by Phil Collen. This was Phil Collen’s main guitar on the 1987-88 Hysteria World Tour. He also used it to play the intro lick to “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” and played the guitar in the music video for that song.

Jackson Union Jack bass guitar played by Rick Savage. Sav played this bass onstage, including during the 2011 Mirror Ball Tour.
