DEF LEPPARD 1981 Shows Discovered In Harrisonburg, VA/Greenville, NC (Photos/Review)

Def Leppard's toured the High 'n' Dry album in 1981 and two rare shows have been discovered from the North American leg with photos and a review available.

Two shows have been added to the site and/or updated from the September to November 1981 tour leg.

From mid September 1981 to the end of November the band toured as special guests to Blackfoot on the six month long High 'n' Dry world tour.

Greenville, NC Show

A previously known show in Greenville, NC has had it's details updated including a confirmed date and venue.

And also a photo from the show featuring Joe and Steve.

Harrisonburg, VA Show

More interestingly is a previously unknown show from September 1981 played in Harrisonburg, VA.

The show took place at Godwin Hall on the campus of James Madison University.

This show was promoted by the University as Fall Rockout '81.

Another photo from this show also features Joe and Steve.

Also added is a review of the show and some posters. Not the best review the band has ever had...

Both of these shows featured Johnny Van Zant as the opening act.

Tour History Revamp

These two shows are just the first in a series of new additions and updating of the Tour History.

Much like the rest of the site it will soon be replaced by a newer version which is much better.
