Def Leppard's new album 'Songs From The Sparkle Lounge' has a release date on Mon March 17th in the UK via Universal.
The album will be released elsewhere on the same day and on Tue March 18th in the USA and Canada.
The album's first single will be titled 'Nine Lives' and features Tim McGraw in a guest appearance on vocals. The much anticipated 'special guest' mentioned by Vivian last year and also in the recent US tour press release.
Amazon UK are running a contest for UK fans to win a trip to Florida to see the band play a show in Miami (actually the Hollywood Hard Rock Live show). They have also used a tentative album cover - plain black with the main Lep logo, similar looking to 1999's "Euphoria". This is not the final album artwork which was reported to have been completed last year by Phil Collen.

Background - The band recorded/wrote much of the albums songs on the road in 2006 during the YEAH! tour. Tim McGraw made a guest appearance singing co-lead vocals with Joe on 'PSSOM' at the Oct 13th 2006 Hollywood Bowl show. The collaboration was likely discussed and possibly recorded around the same time. Picture above by Lisa.
Lep's other connection to Tim is that Rick Allen's older brother Robert (ex-Lep road manager) is Tim's tour manager. Tim is also married to fellow country singer Faith Hill.
