| Amazon Reveal Def Leppard Album Cover |
|---|
The cover art for Def Leppard's new album 'Songs From The Sparkle Lounge' has been revealed by Amazon. Featuring old archive pics of band members, family, friends and various people connected to the band. A new shot of the band is included (see below). The classic Lep logo and Sparkle Lounge font remain from the previous covers used by the site. Both of which were rejected for the final album cover, as was the 'Nine Lives' promo art.
The pics are mostly the band from all eras. Archive shots include the band wearing facemasks from the Slang tour. Steve Clark is included once on the left, 4 people in, just above Mutt Lange.
Also included in the pics in Man Raze member Simon Laffy (dead center) in a shot from the Girl days, to the left of Ian Hunter.
Richard Hammond (UK TV presenter) is pictured on the bottom right, next to Rick Allen - See Def News Story
The far back appears to be a shot of a Leppard crowd. This cover art is only being used (so far) on the US version of the album (by Amazon).
