[Show Notes] - This webmaster's very first Leppard show (4th gig seen) - Bon Jovi (outdoors) & Motley Crue/Skid Row (Wembley & London Arenas) merely a warm-up for the main event. And what an event it was. Ross Halfin's site and the Never-Ending Weekend programme both feature many pics from the two nights here. The main pic on the front page of the Tour History was taken (I think) at this show (that's me either side of Rick's kit or behind him...). Many thanks to Julie for the fan pics. Easily the band's biggest ever headline show in London - along with night two. They were awarded a Silver Clef Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music earlier in the day at the Nordoff Robbins Music Awards by Elton John who gave a 10 minute speech.
