Show Notes -- Capacity: 8,500. Supported by GUN. The first official date of the main Adrenalize 7-Day Weekend World Tour. The first show in Dublin since the August 27th 1987 show at the SFX Hall which was the opener of the 1987-88 Hysteria world tour. This show was rescheduled from the day before (see original and amended posters above).

This show marked the live debut of (at the time) unreleased acoustic song "S.M.C.". Played as an unannounced intro to the new (somewhat disjointed) acoustic version of BOTH. It's possible that it didn't yet have it's title and was not released until Sep 1993. In a change from the club tour Joe would make many longer speeches during these shows and the guitar solos were the full 4-minute versions with Vivian having an 'interesting' addition to his. He would lean down near one of the two stage holes and his tech would hold up a tape player which would play through his guitar mike, featuring the sound of a...porn movie. The woman's voice sounds rather...happy.

The show intro, as in 1987/88, would see blank black curtains pulled down over the stage with the same intro music. The opening of the Dirt Harry speech and the start of 'Excitable' (Are You Excitable?) played before the big scream (not the woman mentioned above, the song...) and the band would start 'Stagefright' before the curtains pulled upwards dramatically. This new show also featured more laser use and lighting effects. The center piece being the new moving drumkit and the lighting rig which would move out over the audience during 'Rocket'.

The first In The Round show in the UK/Ireland and third country after USA/Canada to have this set up. The first use of the new Diamond shaped staging featuring a movable lighting rig with four big circular pods and hydraulic drum riser. The drum riser also moved as a whole from side to side on the main spine of the stage as well as the middle section spinning around. On this tour the band were able to play more venues using the In The Round setup thanks to a new lighter rig made from aluminium and meant they could fit the stage and lighting into small venues in Ireland, Northern ireland and throughout USA/Canada and Japan. Only a few venues in Europe could handle this setup meaning there were never any dates there with this stage or the older one.

At the time MTV Europe ran a contest to win a pair of tickets to this show.
