Def Leppard Leadmill review: Sheffield welcomes home its greatest rockstars with intimate celebration show By The Star

"The boys showed they’ve still got it. Def Leppard’s staying power comes from remaining a precise, brotherly team playing like clockwork, grinning at each other onstage at how much fun they’re having. It’s touching to see Phil Collen still close his eyes and lose himself in his licks, or see Rick thrash his head around as he batters his drumkit. And Joe, whose voice is as clear and ringing after 40 years, can still whip a whole crowd to get their hands in the air."

Def Leppard – ‘For One night Only’. Rocking The Leadmill Sheffield by rocknews.co.uk

"Good evening, Sheffield! Good evening the world!! Welcome to The Leadmill!!” are the first words shouted out by Def Leppard’s front man Joe Elliott to the packed crowd in the smallest venue the band have played in 15 years. Launching into the first song with their rendition of Sweet’s “Action” sets the scene for the rest of the night as the band raced through a range of songs old and new."
