On This Day in Def Leppard History - 4th March, the following concerts and events took place. Including the UK release of the 'Pyromania' album 37 years ago on this day in 1983.

The band's third studio album had already been released in North America in late January.

On the same day in 1983 a show was played in London, England during the 'Pyromania' tour.

Phil Collen played his second home town show with the band and first at the legendary Hammersmith Odeon. Humorously introduced by Joe Elliott with the line "He used to be a Girl, but he got better!".

Also on this day in 1988 the Hysteria European tour started in Stockholm, Sweden. Their first headline show in Europe since November 1983 and first time their since August 1986.
