On This Day in Def Leppard History - 16th July, the following concerts and events took place. Including a show in East Troy, WI during the Hysteria tour on this day in 1988.

This show (the first of two nights) came one day after the death of road crew member Steve Cater who died following a motorcycle accident.

This was also the first night of the outdoor summer run with 'Run Riot' opening the show and 'Love Bites' being played live for the first time.

Also on this day in 1999 the band played the first show of the main Euphoria world tour in Cadott, WI at the Chippewa Valley Rock Fest. Scorpions and Motley Crue were also on the bill.

As of 2020, Def Leppard have played 13 times on this date.
