DEF LEPPARD Jam Montrose Classic For SAMMY HAGAR's Rock n Roll Road Trip

Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has revealed that the band will appear on an episode of ex-Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar's TV show.

Sammy attended the 4th September show at Zappos Theater in Las Vegas during the Sin City Residency which ends later tonight with show #12.

The 30 minute 'Rock & Roll Road Trip With Sammy Hagar' show started in 2016 and 44 episodes have aired over four seasons.

During the day he interviewed Joe for the show and also jammed with the band at their soundcheck on a cover of the Montrose classic 'Bad Motor Scooter'.

Joe revealed this news during his weekly Planet Rock radio show earlier tonight.

The show features Sammy interviewing his rock and roll friends and often jamming on classic songs with them.

The show is broadcast by AXS TV in the USA but his official YouTube channel also hosts extra clips and outtakes.

They include this clip of Motley Crue's Tommy Lee playing Montrose's Rock Candy with Sammy and fellow ex-Van Halen member Michael Anthony.

The air date for the Def Leppard episode is yet to be announced.

As Joe mentions it will soon be exactly 40 years since the band opened for Sammy on his 1979 UK tour for four shows including their public debut in London.
