DEF LEPPARD 2019 LAS VEGAS/Sin City Residency Show #9 (Show Report)

Def Leppard played the 9th show of the 2019 Sin City Residency last night in Las Vegas, NV with 22 songs performed.

The show took place at the 7,000 capacity Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood.

The 9th night of the 12 show residency. The second of the band's career after 2013's VIVA! Hysteria.

The band varied the setlist order again with many Pyromania songs performed.

In fact only four songs from that album were missing in an almost "VIVA! Pyromania" show.

The 34th time overall that the band have played in Las Vegas.

Setlist Changes

A 22 song setlist played.

Our good friend Billy returned with 'Billy's Got A Gun' played alongside fellow 'Pyromania' tracks 'Too Late For Love' and 'Foolin'.... and the other three making it all six in one night.

'Promises' moved to a later slot.

Only 'Stagefright', 'Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)', 'Action! Not Words' and 'Comin' Under Fire' were missing from the 'Pyromania' album. The last one being the only song from that album never to be played live. "Action! Not Words" only having been played once in Odessa, Texas in April 1983.

"Cheers everybody. This lady down here, we did this last night 'cause it was show 99 for her. But she's actually been, this is her 9th of these 12 but this is her 100th Def Leppard show tonight. Um fittingly with these clothes that I have on here. This was a gift last night from our new BFF Criss Angel. And it's got flames and shit all over it which is very Pyromania themed jacket. Seeing as we did have a mini Pyromania set tonight. We figured we'd keep it going what do you think?. What do you think?. OK Rick what are those magic four words?."
