On This Day in Def Leppard History - 9th November, the following concerts and events took place. Including a show in Cedar Rapids, IA during the Hysteria tour on this day in 1987.

This was the second show the band had played in this city after playing here for the first time in August 1983.

Also on this day in 1979 the band's support slot on AC/DC's 'Highway To Hell' tour came to an end in Leicester, England.

A tour which was booked by then AC/DC manager Peter Mensch who would become Def Leppard's manager (alongside Cliff Burnstein) in early 1980 after being approached backstage during this tour.

On this day in 1987 the 'Hysteria' album was certified 2x Platinum in the USA.
