Watch DEF LEPPARD Play Rare Acoustic Improv Song From 1995

Def Leppard played a short acoustic set for MTV Europe in October 1995 and rare video footage is available.

The show took place at MTV Europe's studios in Camden, London, England.

The whole band appeared on the MTV 's Most Wanted show with host Ray Cokes.

The band appeared on the show on Friday 6th October 1995. The day after the 'Def Leppard Day' events in Sheffield seen on 'Video Archive'.

The show was hosted by Ray Cokes and ran from early 1992 to late 1995.

Rare footage was found a couple of years ago from December 1995 during Ray's last week as host with various artists recording little messages to him as a tribute.

Coming out of an ad break was a very short, less than 20 seconds, clip of Def Leppard performing an improvised acoustic song called "Ray Cokes". View the rare footage via the YouTube playlist linked below along with the full performance of 'Armageddon It'.

During the live show in October they played'PSSOM' and 'When Love & Hate Collide' for the studio audience. Joe and Phil were also interviewed.

'Armageddon It' was taped afterwards and shown during the day on MTV and on Headbanger's Ball.
