DEF LEPPARD News Round Up (18th-24th November 2019)

Def Leppard 2018. By dltourhistory

A round up of Def Leppard News with links to stories and updates from this week in the band's history.

A week where more news emerged about the 2020 tour.

Def Leppard 2020 Tour News

New articles from Rolling Stone and Billboard revealed more about the proposed 2020 stadium tour with Mötley Crüe and Poison.

Sources for Mötley Crüe confirmed tour plans with Def Leppard and Poison and stated the tour would be announced "within days".

An end of week announcement did not happen. Many recent Def Leppard tours have been announced on Thursdays.

The Billboard story confirmed Mötley Crüe had intended their video to be posted in early December followed one week later by a tour announcement.

The 18th November announcement could be followed by the full tour announcement on 25th November (or, of course, not...). Joe made no mention of the tour rumours on his radio show last night or travelling to the USA for next week's show.

Mötley Crüe Reunion Announcement

On the 18th November Mötley Crüe announced their reformation for live concerts via a YouTube video and press release.

The video titled "Mötley Crüe Is Back" showed their 'cessation of touring agreement' being blown up.

There was no denial (or confirmation) from them or Def Leppard/Poison about the tour mentions by The Black Cowes manager or Rolling Stone.

Their last show had been played on 31st December 2015 and was also released as a CD/DVD in 2016.

Vivian Campbell/Last In Line 3rd Album/New Record Company

Vivian revealed that Last In Line were 90 percent done with the music for their third studio album.

They hope to start recording it in January or February 2020 and will also release it on a new record label.

He revealed the band had decided not to renew its deal with Frontiers Records who released their first two albums 'Heavy Crown' and 'II'.
